This wine has a luminous orange hue from extended contact of the juice with the beautifully bronzed Pinot Gris skins. The wine is true to variety however on a different more intriguing spectrum. This wine is reminiscent of the classic baked pear desserts such as poires pochées au vin. Spices and baked fruit characters abound, with our quintessential Central Otago acid brightness.
